The Danfoss AKV 10PS electric expansion valve controls the refrigerant injection into the evaporator and is driven by an electronic controller. It is the servo-operated version of the AKV 10P: it dampens pressure surges better and reaches a high MOPD with a low-power coil. It has brazed (ODF) connections and comes in five sizes, from AKV 10PS4 (3.33 kW with R404A) to AKV 10PS8 (18.1 kW with R404A).
