Bock HG44 compressor
The machine comes with a latest-generation GEA Bock HG44 semi-hermetic compressor. With the HG44e series, GEA Bock introduces brand-new, more efficient semi-hermetic compressors designed to replace the HG4 series.
The new 4-cylinder compressors offer higher efficiency and smoother running than their predecessors.
The HG44e series features a modern, high-quality valve plate with impact-resistant stainless steel reed suction and discharge valves, latest-generation electric motors and improved gas flow within the compressor, delivering higher overall efficiency.
Proven oil-pump lubrication is used on all compressors, providing a wide speed control range with a frequency inverter. Emergency operating characteristics, which are especially important with natural refrigerants, have also been optimised.
As always, the key strengths in developing the new HG44e compressors are:
- Easy maintenance: stators can still be replaced on site without special tools.
- Maximum permissible operating pressure: 28 bar
- High-quality impact-resistant stainless steel valves
- Universally proven design with reed suction and discharge valves
- All compressors have a traditional single-circuit lubrication system with an oil pump that works in either direction of rotation.
