The AK-SM 800A series is an enhanced version of the AK-SM 800 system, with a new, more powerful electronic platform that streamlines installation and maintenance. Designed specifically for food retail, it offers many improvements, including:

  • New electronic platform : With a quad-core CPU, this series offers more memory, more connectivity ports and a solid base for future development.

  • Dedicated food retail applications : Supports centralised (Rack I/O) and decentralised (Pack, controllers) applications used worldwide.

  • Improved user interface : Modern, intuitive touchscreen with a web interface for easy remote connection.

  • Secure communications : Secure web via HTTPS, secure software downloads and encrypted user management for optimal security.

  • Secure Wi-Fi access point : Makes connection easy without interfering with the company network.

  • Compatibility and easy installation : Backward-compatible with existing (EoL) systems, with a smooth upgrade path from SC255/SC355/SM800.
