Danfoss GBC shut-off ball valve

Danfoss GBC valves open or close a refrigerant line with a quarter turn. They are fitted in the liquid, suction and hot gas lines of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems: cold rooms, chillers, heat pumps and transport refrigeration. Their full port, matching the line size, keeps pressure drop low, and they work in both directions, so the mounting direction does not matter. The version with access port (Schrader) makes charging, evacuation and checks easier without removing the valve.

ODF: female solder connection over the tube. The GBC 25L only comes without access port. Male connection (ODM) versions, GBC E and CO2 valves on request.

Two ranges

• GBC L (6 to 28 mm): stainless steel body and Cu-plated stainless steel tubes for easy, fast brazing to copper; 50 bar, media from −40 to +150 °C; A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants, including R290, R32, R404A, R448A, R449A, R134a, R513A and R1234yf.
• GBC (35 to 79 mm): brass body, copper tubes; 45 bar, media from −40 to +100 °C; HFC and HFO refrigerants such as R134a, R404A/R507, R407C, R407F, R410A, R448A, R449A, R513A. For flammable refrigerants, see the limits given in the data sheet.
